School Council

The Wembley Elementary School Council members collaborate to support and improve student learning. They serve as a channel for community members to consult with, and offer guidance to, the school principal and the Peace Wapiti Public School Division Board of Trustees.

Alberta School Councils:

• Act as a link between the school and community
• Prioritize the best interests of all students
• Consider the needs and perspectives of all school stakeholders
• Foster, uphold, and reflect the school's culture
• Represent the parent voice within the school community
